Training progress

Tone Runner stores your best completed guided-level scores and their level identifiers locally on your device. It uses this information to show progress, unlock levels, and recognize mastery.

We do not receive those scores. The app does not require an account or upload progress to a server. The browser version uses local storage for the website address where you play.

Audio and app activity

The app generates sounds for ear training. It does not record your microphone. The current app contains no advertising or analytics SDK and does not send gameplay activity to AEMaurer.

Support and beta enquiries

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include, such as your message, device details, or screenshots. We use that information to respond, investigate reported problems, or arrange beta access when requested.

Messages are handled by our email provider, Yahoo. Send only information needed for your enquiry. To request deletion of your correspondence, contact belligerentbengal@yahoo.com.

Website hosting and distribution services

This website adds no analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, or third-party embedded media. Its hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the website.

If you install or test the app through Apple or Google, those services may process account information, diagnostics, or feedback under their own privacy policies. Feedback you choose to share through a beta service may be made available to the developer.

Removing local progress

Use your device’s app-data controls or remove the app to clear local progress, subject to your device’s backup and restore settings. For the browser version, clear site data for the address where you play.
